Informed about every part of treatment and received the very best treatment possible and I don't think I have ever met a nicer person than Mr lakkol who was very professional and also amazingly friendly .Also all the nursing staff who have made the stay very good
The hospital was clean and well organised during the Pandemic. All staff were pleasant and helpful. I felt comfortable during my consultation and was treated well by the consultant
I was on Ward 313 on the ward hostess Dawn went out of her way to make sure I got food that I could tolerate. I was thoroughly impressed by the nurses and their constant care. Nothing was too much trouble.
I received treatment for prostate cancer at Derby hospital and I received excellent care from my initial consultation with Dr Das to my treatment in radiology. including my nurse Nicole Turner were a fantastic support and I felt I could ask any questions or discuss any issues I was facing and they would reassure me. I was treated with respect and dignity by all staff I cannot thank them enough. To feel so much support in such a difficult time made a real difference to my outlook on my cancer.
I was cared for exceptionally well during my 2 night stay at the private wing of The Royal Derby Hospital. I would recommend to anyone.
I would like to thank all the staff on the ward which I was on after the operation and gave me care until discharge as the care was second to none.
You often hear a lot of bad things about hospitals and the NHS in general, but never enough good things... In this case, the care and services offered were beyond expectations... Friendly staff (right from reception up!) who genuinely seemed to care and the support staff (nurses, dieticians) we're all fab!...
I would highly recommend Derby NHS, I was treated so well, I have fabulous pain management and can’t fault the service and care I had. My treatment has changed my life and I’m so grateful
My care was excellent ,the staff supportive I was a bariatric surgery patient and so my diet was liguids ie soup or shake. Perhaps in 3 years this has changed but in my case the soup was in a cup just dumped on my table .this was not the best way to present food and did not make it very appetizing. Perhaps this could be improved I was at the same time also given a shake. Being provided with 2 cups of liquid together was completely overpowering the day after surgery. Thank you for allowing me to discuss this as i still to this day remember the feeling that gave me.
I was a private patient. I was looked after very well.
The nursing staff were super to be fair everyone I came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The ward was spotless.
